KOLKATA, Dec 15: Real Kashmir, the I-League side, locked horns with the ambitious Calcutta based side Southern Samity. Real Kashmir, the clear favourites came into this match with high expectations.

Real Kashmir got off the blocks first and started attacking using the wings. Southern Samity was under a lot of pressure in the early stages. Danish Farooq, the out and out striker of Real Kashmir hit home at the 22nd minute and gave his side the lead.

Post the goal, Southern Samity lost their footing in the game and they were lost. Real Kashmir tried to take advantage of the situation to increase their lead but failed to do so.

The game was very physical as both teams were going at each other with everything they had but at the end Real Kashmir came out on top. There was little difference between the two in terms of possession. When it came to chances created, Real Kashmir won the battle and at the end of the game came out on top.

The match ended as 1-0 in favour of Real Kashmir.

Mason Lee Robertson, the captain was named the man of the match for his brilliant performances.
When asked about the victory he said, “It was a good team effort. We have been training for only a win. Three wins, hope we can keep it going.”
