KOLKATA, Dec 09: Real Kashmir raced to the top position in Group B, swamping Aryan 3-0 after a barren first-half in a game that they took time to dominate. With this win, Real Kashmir take home six points.
Aryan started on a promising note to catch their rivals unawares but Real Kashmir soon regained their composure to bring the game under their control with goals at regular intervals in the second-half.
Though Aryan threatened to take the game away from Real Kashmir, goals from Mason Robertson in the 72nd minute and Danish Farooq in the 83rd gave the visitors the edge they were looking for. Aryan did try hard to score but a goal from Lukman in the dying seconds of the game took the wind out of their sail.
Real Kashmir’s Chesterpoul, who played a critical role in opening up the Aryan defence with his incisive passes, was named the Man Of The Match.
